We custom build many different types of furniture at Alliance Robes, including Built in Wardrobes, Home Offices, Display Cabinets, Book Shelving and TV Cabinets.

We tailor your cabinetwork to the size and shape of your room, and can make small unusual spaces functional as well as aesthetically pleasing. We provide a personalised design service, and all our work is designed to accommodate your individual needs. We can maximise the quantity of storage, ensuring no wasted space. If you wardrobe/office is well organised there is no frustration or wasted time trying to find things - especially in the mornings!
We work with clients in new homes as well as renovations and existing homes. The design options at Alliance Robes ranges from sleek modern styling through to a traditional look, and everything in between.
Your existing wardrobe fitting will almost always need to be removed. Usually the position of the shelf and rail is too low to allow for your new cabinet work, and we cannot modify any of your existing fittings. We can assure you that you will see a far better result by starting afresh.

You are of course more than welcome to take a tour of our Design Gallery without a prior appointment but it is always preferable to book an appointment first to ensure that one of our Design Consultants is available to spend the quality time necessary to help you achieve the very best for your circumstances.
We would recommend 600mm deep externals which would house the subframe for the doors and allow enough room for a coat hanger.
All our furniture is custom made, however we do have recommendations on widths of shelves, drawers and hanging, this is based on the sizes of clothing and accessories. For example we recommend 600 wide or 900 wide for drawers as this will fit 2 or 3 jumpers folded side by side on the shelves above. The 600mm wide drawers are more common as this size will also fit drawer trays and accessories.
Our standard drawers are 200mm deep (drawer front). We recommend this size as this is most practical size to see and reach all items. If a deeper drawer is required for thicker items such as jumpers we are happy to go up to 300mm.
The material we most often use is the Formica commercial range with 2mm ABS edging. There is approximately 50 colours to from and it comes in 18mm and 25mm thick.
We are happy to use different material such as Veneer's, Laminex, Polytec, Vinyl Wrap and also 2 Pack Paint. These products may incur a surcharge.
Yes, as a professional design company we always provide 3D drawings upon acceptance of your quote.
Our Designers spend a great deal of time working with you and preparing unique, realistic drawings. We can make arrangements to view your designs either at your own home or in our Design Gallery before deposit payment. From acceptance of your quote you can adjust your design as many times as required up until approx. 6 weeks before installation or such a time when the design is passed onto our Production Team.
On average it is 4 - 6 weeks from date of purchase depending upon the time of year and selected range. All our installers are exclusively employed by Alliance Robes and are qualified Cabinet Makers.
